Twin starts with Axiotyle, a soft chibi axolotl. During onboarding you can keep Axiotyle, describe a different creature, or upload a photo to redraw as a small desktop companion.

Mood changes affect expression and scene, but the companion should stay recognizable. Custom characters are created intentionally with /change-char; iterations use /evolution.

Describe your own companion

Try prompts like “Doraemon as a tiny desktop helper,” “a sleepy Pittsburgh raccoon,” or “a calm study dragon.” Twin saves the generated character and should keep future evolutions close to that first summon.

New identity

Use /change-char when you want a brand-new character.

Small iteration

Use /evolution when you want the same character adjusted.

Photo style

Upload a reference photo if you want a character inspired by a real object, pet, or sketch.
